Resistance Spot Welders

resistance-spot-welding

Spot welding is a process where metal sheets or workpieces are joined together by applying heat and pressure at specific points, creating small, overlapping welds called “spots.” In resistance spot welding, the weld is produced by passing an electric current through the workpieces, which are held together by copper electrodes. The electrical resistance of the metal generates localized heat, causing the materials to melt and fuse together at the spot under pressure. Once the current is stopped and the materials cool down, a strong and durable weld is formed. Popular spot welding machines are Rocker Arms, Press Type, Bench Welders, Portable Gun Types, and Spot & Projection Combination welders.
