Description
Slicer for cutting elongated vegetables with the ability to top / tail products, manufactured by F.I.R.M. Inc. Offered with blue belting including low-profile cleats, spaced at 1-1/2", to align products to the far side of the conveyor before passing through the slicing blade. It includes a small stainless steel feed chute mounted above the belting. The belt measures 16" wide X 8' overall length and is equipped with a top hold-down belt through slicing section, guiding products to a 12" diameter high-speed slicing blade. Cut-off product tops discharge through a 6" x 2" dimpled chute, good product discharges off cleated belt. The blade is driven by a 1 HP direct connect motor, 1750 RPM, 208-230/460V. The main conveyor is drive-less, and the top hold-down belt is driven by a 1 HP right-angle gear motor. Previously used as green onion root topper for the processing and packaging of bagged salads. All components are mounted on a stainless steel frame with casters.
