The Bryant Vertical Centalign is designed for the high-production, precision grinding of internal cams.
It is also available as a chucking machine. The Bryant Vertical Centalign grinds parts such as power steering pump rings at much higher production rates than attained by any other method. Chucking models are used for grinding bores in large diameter parts such as ring gears, etc.
Operation of the cam controlled work fixture, in a horizontal plane, is a major contribution to increased production and accuracy. To generate contoured bores, it can be rotated much more rapidly and accurately than in a vertical plane. Work part loading is also faster and easier.
The Bryant Vertical Centalign occupies a minimum of floor space. It incorporates all the major design features of famous Bryant Centalign construction.
