The No. 16-16 Hobbing Machine is a universal type machine which features quick change-over for a wide variety of work. It is a mechanical machine operated by electrical controls, and it can be arranged for either climb or conventional hobbing. It con be furnished as a special machine with automatic cycling and automatic loading when the parts are applicable to such handling devices.The range of work which the No. 16-16 will accommodate includes spur and .helical gears, splines, serrations and special forms. With special equipment, it will cut worms, worm gears, threaded parts and tapered serrations. It can be furnished with an automatic hob shifter as special equipment.
