Asme Code Design And Stamped Section Viii Division 1 Code. 12" High Extension Riser Added To Processor (304 L ) In 1996. Total Heat Transfer Area Of Processor Screws Is 614 Square Feet. Screws: Unit Has Two Screws That Are Nominal 24 Inch Diameter Each X 24 Feet Long X 6 Inch Pitch. Flight Thickness Is 5/16" Thick Both Front And Back Of Flights. Twin Pad Construction. Asme Design And Code Stamped For 150 Psig At 650 f For The Screws. Trough: Jacketed And Code Stamped For 75 Psig At 400 f. Interior To Have A 2b Finish And Welds Ground Smooth. Internal Shell Of Trough Is Rated For 3 Psig Pressure And 30" Water Vacuum. Drive System: 10 Hp Ac Motor 3/60/230/460, 215t Frame. Chain Driven To Give An Input Speed To The Screw Of 3.54 Rpm. Sm-cyclo Reducer Hc3235/16 With 319:1 Ratio. Reducer Is Hc 3235/16 With 15.7 Hp Input, 153,000 In-lb Torque; 319:1.0 Ratio; 5.49 Rpm Output On Drive. Drive Sporocket Is Sph-6, #160 Chain, 29 Tooth. Driven Sprocket Is # 160 Chain, 45 Tooth. Weight Empty Of The Processor Without The Drive Is 22,600 Pounds. Unit Was Retrofitted With A 12" Vapor Riser Section With Viewing Windows In 11-96. Constructied Of 304l Stainless Steel. Unit Was Originally Designed To Cool Super Absorbent Polymer At A Rate Of 9853 Pounds Per Hour With A Specific Heat Of 0.4 Btu/lb f At 36 Lb/cubic Foot From 280 f (max 305 f) To 149 f.
