All mounted in an enclosure attached to the washer includes all necessary pushbuttons, relays, signal lights etc. for proper operation. There is a Watlow digital temperature controller to control temperature to the electrically heated blow off section. There is also a Boston Gear speed control to adjust speed of the drum.

Description :      

Model 250 Hurricane rotary drum washer fabricated out of stainless steel. The stainless steel drum has 1/4" perforations, 2"H auger with a 12" pitch. There are two (2) "Marine" clean out doors for easy access to the wash and rinse tanks.

Wash pump is 3 H.P. and rated for 80 G.P.M. Rinse pump is 2 H.P. and rated for 60 G.P.M. There are two (2) stainless steel canister type filter; one for wash and one for rinse.

The wash and rinse tanks are gas heated using an Eclipse package burner system firing into a 6" mild steel tube. The 18 kW heated blow off section has a 1/2 H.P., 1430 CFM blower. A 12" tube axial steam exhaust fan is mounted on top of the washer.

Wash tank capacity is 392 gallons and the rinse tank capacity is 294 gallons. Both wash and rinse tanks have belt type skimmers which are used to remove oil from the water. Some prints and manuals are included with this washer.
