WHAT WAS DONE TO THIS MACHINE:
This machine was brought into our shop and the following things are just the high lights of what was done to it.
Remove table drive transmission, clean, inspect, replaced bearings.
Install electrical parts in Soft Start System and change voltage to 440 volts.
Rebuild wheel dresser unit and install new dresser wheels.
Clean out and replace as need all lubrication lines. Confirm all lines are open and system operation.
Clean internal mechanism and check down for proper operation.
Rebuild head gear box lubrication pump, flush out and clean the gear box.
Install newly reground bed ways.
Install new Turcite on table saddle. Re-machine and re-scrape saddle to newly ground bedways.
Replace table bearing to saddle surface with new Garlock material and re-scrape to fit.
Install new table rotation drive gear.
Rebuild table in-out drive gear box with new bearings.
Install new table rotation motor brake unit.
Repair and remake guarding as needed.
Install new HeliCoil thread inserts in Cortland Chuck where needed.
Check and replace as needed all limit and operating switches.
Make ready for Customers Under Power Inspections.
