This system is composed of (2) separate 500KW diesel generators designed to run separately or in parallel for a total output of 1000KW.
ENGINES: Cummins Model VTA-1710, V-12, rated 675 BHP, with unit mounted fan cooled radiator and fan guard. Eng.#1 has 338 hours total time since new in 1977. Eng.#2 has 330 hours since new in 1977.

GENERATORS: Marathon model 680FDR5058FFW, rated 625KVA, 500KW stand-by, 3 phase, 60 hz., 277/480V, 0.8 P.F., 752 amps, at 1800RPM. KR7F voltage regulator.

GENERATOR CONTROL PANEL: One common panel consisting of (2) sets of AC metering, including voltmeter, ammeter, frequency meter, (2) 2301 Woodward controllers, and (2) 1200 amp Westinghouse molded case 3 pole, 600V circuit breakers.

ENGINE CONTROL PANELS: Each engine equipped with it own mounted panel consisting of hourmeter, oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge, and safety shutdowns for low oil pressure, high water temperature and overspeed with indicating lights.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS: Each engine is equipped with 24VDC electric start, Woodward EGB-2P electro-hydraulic governors, twin exhaust mufflers, LaMarche A-46 Constavolt battery chargers, dry type air cleaners, and jacket water heaters.

MOBILE UNIT ASSEMBLY: The entire system is mounted inside a custom built aluminum outdoor, partially sound attenuated enclosure, with an over-the-highway 45 foot Great Dane two (2) axle trailer including (4) 200 gallon fuel tanks. Fuel rate is 90 GPH at full load of 1000 KW.
